Update We are seeing that quite of few of you are receiving emails but they are going into your spam or bulk folders. Please make sure that you include Slide as a safe sender.


4/12/10 It looks like we've resolved the Yahoo issue. They use a different validation key than others so we were able to correct the situation. If you use Yahoo as a provider, you should now be receiving your emails. Please let us know if you are still having this issue. (as a side note, please check your spam / junk folder for emails from Slide just in case they are being filtered)



Update - 4/5/10 Hi everyone. Thank you so much for helping us to track this. It looks like we may have discovered the issue with Yahoo and we're fixing it as soon as possible. We're still working on the cause of the other mail service issues.

I'd like to start tracking this issue. Please give me the carrier that you are using. Please don't type your entire email address. Simply give me the @gmail or @yahoo. Whichever provider you use for the email that is registered with Slide.

We are tracking this issue, but need you all to indicate which email service you are using. @gmail, @hotmail, etc.
We are working on the long-term fix for the missing secret item email.

We have been working to make improvements to our email service (since we first became aware of the problem). Emails are still going out. We will let you know as we have more details.

If you do not get your secret item emails (sent every Thursday), be sure to click on the banner on the weekends or go to http://superpokepets.com/spp/profile/secret_item_email

It is best to claim your items before Tuesday night. . . since that is when we usually discontinue them to get ready for the next week's email.

Got the email with the link to the secret item this morning. Clicked the link and was told I needed to be logged in with my pet to get it, but Trogdor was in the small box thing under and to the right of the message and so I was obviously logged in. I logged out and back in and still received the message. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened... Whats the deal??

Pamela, have you tried using Gmail? It seems they don't block emails from slide, whereas Yahoo! and other web-based sites do.
Give it a try, if you haven't already.

Go create your new email address (don't forget to write it down, along with your password), then come back and use the Settings link at bottom of every page here. Change your email address to the new one.

In the meantime, have you tried using this link?

The provider I use is @peoplepc. I have Superpoke on both Facebook and myspace and haven't been able to get any of the secret items from my emails. sad

My daughter and I both have the exact same problem. We both have email with yahoo.
